Peter Sanderson, type setter of some reputation, had a fine time setting these letters on the Monotype at Whittington Press ... The book is a simple affair, being illustrations by Denis Tegetmeier to go with quotes taken from contemporary sources, and a brightly iconoclastic introduction by Eric Gill ... This book has been printed in Monotype Caslon with a little Imprint to aid the display, on Zerkall paper and using an Arab treadle platen press. The marbled paper used on the binding was made by Victoria Hall. Thirty copies of this edition of a hundred and fifty come with a signed folder of the prints. This copy is number [7] of [120].
