... This book was printed on paper made by hand especially for it at the paper studio of Katie MacGrego & Bernie Vinzani, located in Whiting, Maine. The type for the text is hand-set Spectrum, with the Times New Roman for display. Text preparation, typographical design, setting & presswork were done by Michael Alpert at the Theodore Press, Bangor, Maine. Lorene Burman proofread the text. Claire Van Vliet's woodcut illustrations were printed by the artist at the Janus Press in West Burke, Vermont. The birch covers were individually decorated by Claire Van Vliet who designed the binding with Nancy Southworth of Lancaster, New Hampshire. The binding was accomplished with help from Marnie Cobbs, Tamar Schumann, Nancy Southworth, Linda Wray, and Michael Alpert. The slipcases were made by Judi Conant of Guildhall, Vermont.
