Ockers

Katoomba : The Wayzgoose Press, 1999

This typographic rendition of Ockers was conceived, designed and illustrated with linocuts by Mike Hudson and hand set by Jadwiga Jarvis in a wide range of predominantly sans serif types. All aspects of production were executed manually at the press by the two partners. The book was printed letterpress on Magnani Incisioni 220 gsm using a Western proof press. Bound as a concertina, it is contained within a printed cloth covered portfolio together with an introduction and a Glossary of Ockerisms. An edition of 40 signed and numbered copies of which numbers I-V are not for sale. Of copies 1-35 numbers 1-3 are in designer bindings by Mike Hudson. This is copy No. [33].
