This book was designed and printed at Gregynog by David Esslemont. The typeface is Monotype Baskerville, the compositor David Vickers. The wood engravings were printed from the original blocks on a Columbian hand-press, the text on a Heidelberg Cylinder. This edition of 240 copies on Zerkall mould-made paper consists of 25 copies bound in full leather numbered I-XXV, 200 copies in quarter-cloth numbered 1-200, and 15 unbound copies numbered 201-215.
