Endgrain Editions One: Gerard Brender à Brandis is published by Barbarian Press in April, 2000, in an edition of 200 copies. Of these, 150, quarter bound in Japanese silk and patterned paper, constitute the Regular edition, and 50, bound in quarter leather and patterned paper, & accompanied in a slipcase by a signed proof of the frontispiece, the Deluxe edition. The type is Joanna, with Libra & Augustea for display; the papers, Book White Wove & Silurian, both made by the Zerkall Mill. The binding of the Regular edition is by Rasmussen Bindery Ltd., and of the Deluxe by Natasha Herman. The book was designed and the type set by Crispin Elsted, who also assisted Jan Elsted in printing the text. The printing of the engravings, all from the wood, is by Jan Elsted. Utile dulci.
