This typographic interpretation of Jas H. Duke's Dada Kampfen um Leben und Tod was conceived and designed by Mike Hudson and hand set in a wide range of lead and wood sans serif types by Jadwiga Jarvis. The book was hand printed on Magnani Incisioni 220 gsm by the two partners using a Western proof press. It is contained in a quarter bound buckram and board portfolio which also holds two introductory essays; one about the author, the other concerning the Dada movement and philosophy. The Introductions are printed on Mohawk Superfine 148 gsm. This edition of 34 copies comprises: 5 copies out of edition (hors de commerce) and the remainder signed and numbered thus: No. 1 in a designer binding. Nos. 2-25 in a portfolio. Nos. 26-29 unbound.
