Seven fables

This book is the offspring of collaboration. Louise LaFond created the illustrations for Mr. Bierce's Fables and also printed them with the aid of Jane Patterson and Leesa Smith. Jim Trissel designed the book proper, printed and bound it with the indispensible help of Sally Hegarty, Suzanne Bratt and Ben Trissel. The fables themselves come from the public domain but we acknowledge, with gratitude, Dover Publications, Inc. for use of the several texts. Please note that the illustrations are relief printed from the original plates. The text is set in Spectrum, the headings in Bernhardt Tango. The paper is Rives Lightweight.
