Totem was printed by Harold P. McGrath at Pennyroyal Press, West Hatfield, Massachusetts. The type, Giovanni Madersteig's Dante, was set monotype by Michael Bixler in Skaneateles, New York, and the hand composition done at the press. The paper is Mohawk Letterpress. The book's design and the two wood engravings are the work of Barry Moser. Printing was completed in the spring of 1984. Of an edition of 100, this is copy number [27]. [Gesigneerd door E.M.
