American Proprietary Typefaces has been set in Monotype Centaur and Bembo by Michael and Winifred Bixler. The text has been printed letterpress and the illustrations by offset lithography at The Stinehour Press on Cougar Opaque paper. Bound in imported cloth by Acme Bookbinding. Seven hundred and twenty copies have been printed, of which one hundred and twenty are specially bound, and contain a group of broadsides printed at various presses from original foundry versions of some of the faces discussed in this publication. Designed by Jerry Kelly.
