Here ends Flatland, the seventh book of the Arion Press. The edition is limited to 275 copies for sale. The printing was completed in December of 1980. The paper is T.H. Saunders all rag mould-made from Inveresk of England. The type is Univers, reset by hand from Monotype composition by Mackenzie-Harris Corp. The initial letters are Gill Shadow. The illustrations are by Andrew Hoyem. Some of the diagrams are reinterpretations of drawings by the author taken from the first edition. The colors and grey backgrounds were applied by hand. The photo-engravings were made by the Bauer Engraving Company; the dies by the Notaro Company; the aluminum bindings by Q-Rolo Sheet Metal Products. The letterpress printing and die cutting were executed on a handfed Hartford platen press, 14 by 22 inches.
